CONCEPT / STORY

Rebirth is an augmented reality sculpture exploring a suspended state between collapse and transformation.
The female figure floats in zero gravity as her body dissolves into digital fragments, blurring the boundary between physical presence and perception.

Rebirth reflects an internal moment of rupture — the quiet tension before a decision is made.

The body fractures into painterly strokes, metallic shards, and digital masks. These elements are not signs of destruction, but of reconfiguration: what no longer holds form is released, making space for something new.

Chains, star-shaped spikes, and swirling fragments form the landscape of an inner storm is an attempt to maintain coherence while moving through time, information, and pressure.

Artist Intent

In this work, I intentionally combined contrasting visual languages and techniques.

Soft painterly gestures coexist with sharp metallic surfaces. The vulnerability of the human body is set against the cold shine of metal and the abstraction of digital form. A cosmic helmet appears as both protection and distance — a barrier between the inner self and the external world.

Rebirth is about fragility not as weakness, but as a transitional state.

AR EXPERIENCE
The sculpture appears suspended in the viewer’s real environment through a mobile device.
The figure floats freely, allowing the audience to move around it, observe its fragmentation, and experience its scale and spatial tension.

Augmented reality turns the moment of transformation into a shared space intimate, unstable, and present.
VISUAL LANGUAGE / ART DIRECTION
  • fragmented female figure
  • painterly strokes and flowing digital ribbons
  • metallic chains and reflective surfaces
  • cosmic helmet as a symbolic element
  • contrast between softness and rigidity

The visual composition emphasizes movement frozen in time, balancing chaos and stillness.

We are all born of stardust — and in the end, we return to it. We are all born of stardust — and in the end, we return to it. We are all born of stardust — and in the end, we return to it. We are all born of stardust — and in the end, we return to it. We are all born of stardust — and in the end, we return to it.
