CONCEPT / STORY

This AR project was created in collaboration with Upside Development, the sponsor of the exhibition “The Nature of the Object” at the New Tretyakov Gallery.

The work explores the idea of harmony between primordial nature, advanced technology, and contemporary business through augmented reality.

The project was conceived as a visual manifesto of coexistence.

Augmented reality became a medium for demonstrating how organic forms and technological systems can exist not in conflict, but in balance. The AR installation extends the exhibition space into the digital realm, allowing invisible ideas to materialize directly in the viewer’s environment.

Artistic Intent

My intention was to translate the values of Upside Development into a poetic visual language rather than a literal representation.

Flowers and dragonflies symbolize the beauty, fragility, and elegance of the natural world. AR technology and the integration of the company’s meanings represent new opportunities, innovation, and future-oriented thinking.

The artwork functions as a quiet statement rather than a spectacle.

Symbolism

  • Flowers — organic growth, continuity, natural harmony
  • Dragonflies — lightness, transformation, transitional states
  • Augmented Reality — innovation, expansion of perception
  • Business context — responsible development and future potential
Together, these elements form a narrative about balance between the natural and the constructed worlds.

AR EXPERIENCE
The AR installation is accessed through a WebAR interface.

Digital elements appear within real space, floating freely and interacting with the viewer’s movement. The experience does not dominate the physical environment but gently inhabits it, reinforcing the exhibition’s conceptual framework.
PROCESS & TECH
  • Concept development aligned with exhibition narrative
  • Creation of organic 3D forms inspired by nature
  • WebAR implementation for public accessibility
  • Optimization for mobile devices and exhibition use
We are all born of stardust — and in the end, we return to it. We are all born of stardust — and in the end, we return to it. We are all born of stardust — and in the end, we return to it. We are all born of stardust — and in the end, we return to it. We are all born of stardust — and in the end, we return to it.
