CONCEPT / STORY

This project presents an augmented reality logo created for the ZIL Cultural Center during the exhibition “Not an Epilogue. ZIL” at the Gorky Park Museum.

The AR logo functioned as a central visual element of the exhibition, merging historical identity with contemporary digital space.

The project explores how institutional identity can be reinterpreted through augmented reality.

Rather than redesigning the logo as a static object, the work translates it into a spatial, animated form — allowing it to exist beyond physical surfaces and enter the architectural and cultural environment of the exhibition.

AR here acts as a bridge between heritage and the present moment.

Artistic Intent

The intention was to create a visual language that respects the historical context of the ZIL Cultural Center while reactivating it through contemporary technology.

By transforming the logo into an AR object, the project invites visitors to experience cultural identity not as something fixed, but as a living, evolving structure.

AR EXPERIENCE
Visitors could access the AR logo via mobile devices during the exhibition.

Appearing directly within the exhibition space, the logo interacted with architecture and movement, becoming a navigational and symbolic element rather than a purely decorative one.

The experience reinforced the idea of the logo as an active participant in the cultural environment.
VISUAL LANGUAGE / ART DIRECTION
The logo design draws inspiration from Russian Constructivism, with a particular reference to the works of Wassily Kandinsky.

Geometric shapes, dynamic composition, and a restrained yet expressive color palette form a dialogue between early modernist aesthetics and digital space. The AR animation emphasizes balance, rhythm, and movement — key principles of constructivist visual thinking.

We are all born of stardust — and in the end, we return to it. We are all born of stardust — and in the end, we return to it. We are all born of stardust — and in the end, we return to it. We are all born of stardust — and in the end, we return to it. We are all born of stardust — and in the end, we return to it.
